Vacancy of a Project Manager for Lviv Media Forum
Our team is looking for a person who is ready to become the Commander-in-Chief of our grant projects.
Lviv Media Forum is a non-governmental organization about media and for media. We have been working since 2013 to make Ukrainian media viable โ global, professional, ethical and capable.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we not only preserved, but also increased our team. Our growth is progressing both in terms of quantity and quality.
What will you gain from working on our team:
๐ธย The opportunity to support Ukrainian media.
๐ธ The chance to learn and develop your skills.
๐ธ A team of proactive, goal-oriented, emotionally mature individuals united by a common purpose and values (vision, openness, people-centricity).
๐ธ Stability and confidence to the extent possible in times of conflict. We’ve been operating since 2013, and the team has continued to grow since February 24, 2022.
๐ธ An energy-independent office ready for blackouts.
๐ธ Regular informal team gatherings (why not organize a mini-party or go together to “Dovbush”?)
We are not like the others:
๐ธ Once a month we have Thursday breakfasts when we eat hummus and talk about anything and everything (but not work!).
๐ธ Youโll be able to implement ideas and try yourself in new roles.
๐ธ We opened Lviv Media Hub and now work and hang out with Ukrainian (and not only) media professionals every day.
Your main responsibilities:
โ๏ธ Managing grant projects (planning, implementation, activity monitoring, documentation, preparation of interim and final reports).
โ๏ธ Coordinating the project team.
โ๏ธ Implementing and monitoring project budgets.
โ๏ธ Working with donors, partners, grantors, and contractors to ensure that the partnership with the Lviv Media Forum brings daily joy.
โ๏ธ Directly influencing the resilience of media and ensuring that the voices of Ukrainian journalists are heard worldwide.
You’ll excel if:
๐๐ป You can be the commander-in-chief of your project: securing necessary resources, effectively managing them, making decisions, and leading the team from start to finish.
๐๐ป You have experience working with donors and grant projects.
๐๐ป You excel in budgeting and reporting, and the documents you prepare for your colleagues are a work of art.
๐๐ป Your English is Upper-Intermediate or higher (or you’re willing to independently reach this level in 2-3 months).
๐๐ป You constantly sharpen your skills and raise the standards for the team.
๐๐ป The word “deadline” disciplines and motivates you, and “synergy” is more than just an empty phrase.
๐๐ป You live in Lviv or are ready to relocate.
Do you want to join our team? Please fill out the application form (you’ll need to provide a link to your CV and write a brief cover letter).
If there’s a potential match between us, we will get in touch with you and will be delighted to invite you for an interview.
