Oksana Zabuzhko

Oksana Zabuzhko is a Ukrainian writer, poet, journalist, philosopher, and active public figure. In her works, she explores themes of national identity, historical memory, and gender. The topic of Ukrainian culture and culture in general is familiar to the writer. In the 1990s, she even taught Ukrainian studies at three universities in the United States: the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Pittsburgh, and Harvard University.

Oksana Zabuzhko and her books are well-known not only in Ukraine but also beyond its borders. Translations of her works have been published in many countries, including Bulgaria, the United States, France, Iran, Sweden, and others.
